DMDP Plastic Waste Management

DMDP Plastic Waste Management

An iDE project to research solutions to sort single-use plastic in Da Nang, Vietnam would involve collaborating with local stakeholders and waste management experts to identify the types and sources of single-use plastics in the city, as well as the existing waste management infrastructure. The project would then explore and test various sorting and recycling technologies, and work with local businesses and residents to promote the adoption of sustainable practices and reduce plastic waste. The ultimate goal would be to develop a scalable and replicable model for sorting and recycling single-use plastics that can be implemented in other cities and regions.

Samos Volunteers

Samos Volunteers

As a designer for Samos Volunteers, a grassroots NGO providing humanitarian assistance to refugees in Europe, I was responsible for creating a variety of communication and donor materials to raise awareness of their work among stakeholders. This involved presenting engaging info-graphics and breaking down complex information into clear and compelling messages. In addition, I created branding and logo designs for the website, work badges, and t-shirts, helping to establish a strong visual identity for the organization. As part of my work with Samos Volunteers, I also delivered creative workshops for refugees in the camp, using design and art to empower and uplift them in the face of difficult circumstances.
