I've partnered on a project with the International Women's Initiative (IWI), a London-based organisation committed to raising awareness and preventing female genital mutilation (FGM) in Africa. Working closely with the founder, we engaged in collaborative brainstorming to uncover a profound insight into the sensitive issue of FGM.

The insight: "The scar may not fully heal, but the mark will always serve as a reminder of survival and strength within." This insight became the cornerstone of our campaign, giving a positive and hopeful perspective. The overarching message is that life persists after the trauma of FGM. Our headlines and typography are strategically designed to be subtly intrusive to the main subject, yet they narrate a compelling story of rising above adversity.

Mental Health Awareness Campaign

The true face of depression often remains unseen, concealing the struggles beneath the surface. This compelling insight is focused on individuals grappling with mental health challenges. The campaign aims to break down the walls of stigma, creating a secure space for those in need to access timely mental health assistance. For the digital component of the campaign, we deliberately designed a tone that is both emphatic and personal, aiming to infuse a more human touch into the narrative. This initiative was strategically developed to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week and has garnered support from the Mental Health Foundation.

A joint initiative by the World Heart Federation and Servier, this campaign seeks to raise public awareness about the early symptoms of Angina. The goal is to inform individuals about the persistent signs of Angina and encourage them to seek medical attention promptly from their GP, fostering a proactive approach to heart health and promoting early intervention for a better and healthier life.
